A few winters ago, I braved the chill to experience the shortened Winter Tour at Ohio Caverns, and even though it was brief, it sparked my curiosity. So this summer, I returned to do it right, with the full Combo Tour—and what a difference it made. The Natural Wonder Tour features the famous Crystal King, a 400+ pound stalactite estimated to be over 200,000 years old. The Historic Tour dives into the original hand-dug pathways and gives you a sense of discovery—like the early explorers must have felt.
